Glenwood Springs Gears up for Winter Holidays

Get gravity and family adventure in Glenwood Springs

So my buddy G is the ultimate expert on gravity.Ski Sunlight

"Glenwood Springs practically invented gravity," he said. "In fact, everyone should call us and ask us for the right to gravity before they use it!"

When G’s family and friends come to Glenwood Springs they stay at the AmericInn in Glenwood Springs at the base of the tram.

"You should see the list my family gives me when they come to town.  G…we want a good night’s sleep!  G…we want a good breakfast at the hotel!  G…we want a hotel near a tram!  G…the kids want a Splash Bay Pool at the hotel!  G…we want an  adventure park at the hotel!  G…we want a ten minute drive to Sunlight Mountain Resort from the hotel!  G…we want to soak in the Hot Springs!  G…we want to go to the Brewpub! G…we want gravity!"

So be like G and give the gift of gravity and choose Glenwood Springs for all your family getaways. It’s easy to buy all your winter activities right here at GoGlenwood.com!

Sunlight Mountain Resort officially opens on December 3!  That’s only 26 days away!

"I am an expert on gravity," G said. "But there is one thing that Glenwood Springs will teach you about gravity."

G grinned. I had not only witnessed his brushes with gravity, but I too had been a victim.

"The thing about gravity is that it always wins."

Eat

Frommer’s review of Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company located in the historic Hotel Denver downtown:

“A varied and interesting menu along with some really good beer makes this a good spot for a hearty lunch or dinner. The decor is standard brewpub: brick walls, historic photos, wood tables, TVs with sporting events, and a view of the brewing equipment. The lunch menu, also available at dinner, includes a selection of half-pound burgers, sandwiches (such as a hot smoked-turkey Philly), salads, pasta, and bread bowls filled with soup or stew. Dinner entrees are a bit more elaborate and include fresh fish, baby back ribs, and chicken enchiladas. There are usually eight handcrafted beers on tap — I would suggest the Red Mountain ESB — and half-gallon growler jugs are available for takeout.”
