The Caverns Rocks the Mountain in Glenwood Springs

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park kicked off the second season of Music on the Mountain last weekend.

The outdoor concert series continues this weekend with the Rock Dogs on Saturday, Aug. 21, and Derringer on Saturday, Aug. 28.

This Saturday, Aug. 21, The Rock Dogs, a local rock and roll trio from Carbondale, who has played together for more than 16 years, takes the stage.

Derringer, a popular country rock band, will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 28^th.

The bands will perform from 6 – 10 p.m.

During the Music on the Mountain series you can ride the tram for free if you bring one can of food per rider when you come to the concert.

Just bring it to the tram base and all the donated food will be delivered to LIFT-UP for the Glenwood Springs food pantry.

Last week Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park collected 631 cans of food.

The Lookout Grille will be open for dinner and refreshments and will feature $2.50 Coors Lights, $3 Coronas and wines, and $4 well drinks. Rides and attractions will be open during the concerts and a Day Pass is just $27 with the free tram ride.
