Red, White and TunaWhen traveling to Glenwood Springs for a weekend getaway you might be looking for some live entertainment. Well if you are coming to town the weekend of July 8th-11th. You are in luck! Some local performers are putting on, Red, White, & Tuna, a zany comedy about the citizens of Tuna, Texas celebrating a class reunion on the 4th of July. You will laugh till your sides hurt! This event is held at the Cardiff School House on July 8th, 9th, and 10th at 7:30pm each evening. Tickets are available at the door for $15.

Colorado River Water Park in Glenwood Springs

The first man made water park on the Colorado River

Glenwood Water Park Kayaker    For many visitors that come to Glenwood Springs rafting down the Colorado river is an experience not worth missing. Playing and floating on the river during a hot summer day is the perfect way to spend your time. For many locals and kayakers they can’t get enough of the river.

   In March of 2008 construction on the first man made water park on the Colorado River began in Glenwood Srings. Today, two years in it’s making, the park is enjoyed by many kayakers and visitors from the sidelines. This park is located just below the Midland Ave. Bridge in West Glenwood. With Dairy Queen located accross the street from this attraction, it gives spectators a chance to grab a cone and walk over to watch the kayakers and rafters play in this huge river water park!
