When traveling to Glenwood Springs for a weekend getaway you might be looking for some live entertainment. Well if you are coming to town the weekend of July 8th-11th. You are in luck! Some local performers are putting on, Red, White, & Tuna, a zany comedy about the citizens of Tuna, Texas celebrating a class reunion on the 4th of July. You will laugh till your sides hurt! This event is held at the Cardiff School House on July 8th, 9th, and 10th at 7:30pm each evening. Tickets are available at the door for $15. 
Every year the local newspaper of Glenwood Springs, The Post Independent, presents local choice awards. These awards are given out based on a vote of the community of the best of everything around town including: best restaurant, best salon, best real estate agent, best rafting company etc. The list goes on but you get the idea.
