Sunlight Snowmobile Tours offers a variety of guided tours through the White River National Forest state-of-the-art snowmobiles. You’ll find magnificent 360-degree views of Mt. Sopris, the West Elk Mountains and the Flattop Wilderness. These are just part of one of the most spectacular rides in Colorado. All the snowmobiles at Sunlight Snowmobile Tours are equipped with electric hand warmers to keep you comfortable and key safety features such as independent front suspension and hydraulic disc braking systems. Sunlight Snowmobile Tours’ friendly staff will review basic snowmobile operations so even the first timer will feel like an expert driver!

Tri-County Point Tour
Ride begins at Sunlight Snowmobile Tours, three miles above Sunlight Mountain Resort and winds into White River National Forest. We will stop at Tri-County Point for a short break to take photos and then return to Sunlight. Extras: No clothing is provided. Wear ski gear or warm clothes and warm footwear. Make sure you bring your camera and sunglasses! Helmets will be provided.
Baylor Park Adventure Ride
Ride begins at Sunlight Snowmobile Tours, three miles above Sunlight Mountain Resort. Take a guided tour along the Sunlight to Powderhorn Trail. At Tri-County Point, riders can marvel at the breathtaking vistas. Then it’s on to Baylor Park, where everyone has the chance to ride in a huge undulating meadow. This tour winds 30 miles through the majestic White River Forest. Extras: Clothing and helmets are provided. Make sure you bring your camera and sunglasses! You must be 16 to drive the snowmobile. No kids under 3.
If you have your own snowmobile, then the Flattops Wilderness, located directly north of Glenwood Springs is one of the most epic snowmobiling areas in the entire state of Colorado.
